Christ Didn't Die for Your Image

Christ Didn't Die for Your Image

Honesty; Image; Prayer
Psalm 51 and 73
Honest To God
Sunday, November 23, 2008
Colorado Community Church, Englewood Campus
30 minutes, 0 seconds

We all strive to be accepted and appreciated by others. We portray the image of a person we want others to see which is not always true to who we actually are. So why is it that we care so much about our image at the sake of forgetting our soul? Christ didn't die to save your image… he died for you. In this message Josh looks at the importance of being "Honest to God" through the eyes of the Psalmist David and Asaph in Psalm 51 and 73. This is the second part of a 2 part series.

In this message Josh Weidmann identified the lessons that we can learn from trees - specifically the tree written about in Psalm one. josh explains what it means for us to have "Deep roots planted by streams of water." He reminds us that a person devoted to God is a person devoted to God's Word.
